Casino News

• CSGORoll has successfully merged with Ancient Gaming, a software development team that has been working with Roll since 2018. This has seen an increase in team size from 35 members to 104 members of staff.
• 71.7M $RLB ($7.5M) was burned as a result of the Solana to Ethereum migration.
• MetaWin's $ROCKY became the first BASE memecoin to reach $50M market cap with no pre-sale.
• ClashGG has continued it's strong run after acquiring CSGOLIVE and WTFSKINS, now launching a Summer Event, giving out over $500k of gems on their site over the next 3 months.

Traditional Gaming

• DraftKings posted an increase in revenue by 53% to $1.17B in Q1, an increase of ~$400M from last Q1.
• MGM International posted an increase of 13% from last year, bringing in $4.38B.
• South Korea has apprehended over 1000 teenagers in connection to an illegal gambling ring, seizing ~$45M.
• Macau gambling revenue for April came in at $2.30B, which is an increase of 26% compared to last year.

Decentralised Casinos

• ZKasino developer arrested by Dutch Fiscal Authorities, €11M in assets seized.
• SolCasino ($SCS) dropped hints at their new Season 2, presumably coming out soon.
• PlusBet ($PLUS) has launched it's Beta, inviting newcomers to try out their prototype.
• Blockchain Bets ($BCB) has released their V3 Betting Exchange.
• Shuffle released their April wagering volume, increasing to over $1.3B wagered over the month.

Aggregators & Providers

• Evolution has won the award for Best Live Casino Provider at SiGMA Americas 2024, held in Brazil.
• Relax Gaming has partnered with Octavian Labs, an Italian software house for iGaming solutions.
• In the same week it celebrated its 15th Anniversary, Softswiss released their Q1 Jackpot Aggregator Report. Casinos that participated in the Jackpot reported an average rise in Bet Sum per User of 16%!

• Hong Kong BTC and ETH ETF launches prompted an inflow of over $200mil in total assets.
• Macao and Hong Kong: Mainland Travelers to Hong Kong and Macao for business now get 14 days to reside instead of previous 7.
