Is your casino overlooking crypto?

Over the past 12 months, Tanzanite tracked $50 billion in crypto deposits across online crypto casinos. That is $50 billion in deposits that fiat-only casinos have no way to tap into.

By simply expanding their existing infrastructure to accommodate cryptocurrency payments, online casinos can not only take their share of that $50 billion but also reach a customer base that is growing not just in number but also in loyalty: according to TRM Labs, returning gambling wallets have approximately quadrupled since 2022. Furthermore, we at Tanzanite recorded an increase of more than 13% in crypto deposit transactions in the 180 days ending 25 October 2026 – more than five million additional transactions compared with the preceding 180 days. Together, these findings point to a market with substantial customer retention and growing participation beyond its highest-value bettors.

Established fiat-only operators already have the games, customer support, operational infrastructure and experience needed to run a casino. Accepting crypto provides another way to bring those strengths to an existing audience.

Of course, entering crypto requires more than integrating a wallet. Operators need to consider licensing, compliance, treasury management, payment infrastructure and the markets they can legally serve.

Crypto gambling has already reached meaningful scale; traditional operators have an opportunity to participate in that growth rather than leave it entirely to crypto-native businesses.

At Tanzanite, we use on-chain data to help operators understand this market and make informed decisions about entering it.
